Die Krupps

27 AUG 2025
Die Krupps

DIE KRUPPS mastermind Jurgen Engler is a visionary who has had a lasting influence on the music landscape for decades. In the late 1970s, he was among the first German punk rockers with his band Male In the eighties, he formed DIE KRUPPS, a driving force of the industrial and EBM movements.

When this scene was taken over by the mainstream in the nineties, the group from Dusseldorf integrated tough thrash guitars into their sound and became, along with Nine Inch Nails and Ministry, the most important source of inspiration in the electro metal genre and also influenced numerous bands of the Neue Deutsche Harte (New German Hardness). Inspiring a genre that produced acts such bands as Oomph!, Eisbrecher, and Rammstein. Die Krupps is now a name synonymous with the electro-industrial-metal & Neue Deutsche Harte genres.

Since its formation in the early 80s, Die Krupps has constantly evolved, using synthesizers, metallic percussion, heavy guitars to create it's own brand of metal-machine-music. On Vision 2020 Vision, Die Krupps showed once again why it is an everlasting, driving force in the industrial & EBM movements

Special guest JESUS ON EXTASY

Industrial rock insurgents Jesus on Extasy are back—darker, heavier, and more relentless than ever. Led by founding member Dorian Deveraux, The band has returned with an uncompromising sound that elevates their signature mix of industrial beats, searing guitars, and raw emotion to an entirely new level. “It looks like the world is going to hell. We might as well deliver the soundtrack for that”, says Deveraux about the JoE’s inevitable return.

Jesus on Extasy made a lasting mark on the genre with tracks like "Assassinate Me" and "Neochrome" before stepping away from the spotlight and disappearing into the night. Now, with their upcoming album "Between Despair & Disbelief" set for release in August 2025 via Metropolis Records, they’re proving that this comeback isn’t just a fleeting return - it’s a resurgence built to last. Following the release of the singles "Wide Awake" and "Days

Gone By," which gave fans a taste of the new era, the band will drop the heavy-hitting single "Soul Crusher" ahead of the album, offering a brutal preview of what’s to come: heavier, more intense, and unapologetically aggressive.

Support by JOHNNY TUPOLEV

Wuppertal's alternative electro rockers inspire with a perfect synthesis of hard-hitting guitar ris, pounding machine beats and driving sequencer loops.

The three exceptional artists surprise with their astonished international sound, which is no wonder given that they are actively supported by England's legendary producer John Fryer, known for his work with Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and White Zombie.

They were last able to impressively demonstrate their special live qualities in the summer of 2023, when they were the first band in the world to sell out a 360-degree multimedia rock show with an extraordinary silent concert concept 10 times in a row.
